outdoor carpet christmas tree...

Oh my goodness, how much
fun is this Christmas Tree?

We purchased some outdoor carpeting
from the giant carpet rolls at Home Depot.
It was only $3.95, and you could
make so many!

We grabbed a straight edge and a Sharpie.

Next we drew our tree on the back.

Then we cut it out.

We used a scrap of trim for the trunk.

You could leave it plain....

or add a string of battery
powered lights.

The carpet will hold up in the elements
and the texture is perfect for a tree!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

simply thankful...

If you are looking to simplify your Thanksgiving
decorations, then this idea is for you!

The letters at the craft stores are meant
to be painted, decoupaged, covered
with fabric or glitter...well let's buck
the system and keep them naked :-)

 So simple!

Happy Thanksgiving!

personalized aprons...

How much fun would it be to have
personalized aprons for all of your
little Thanksgiving helpers?

 We picked up this cute

It's always difficult to decide which cute
Hazel & Ruby font to use, but we

Simply apply the lettering and use a sponge
brush with acrylic paint.

Super easy and super cute!
Happy crafting!

pegboard abstract christmas tree...

This is such an easy art project
with a really big visual impact!

 We used VERY inexpensive ornaments
and made sure they were shatterproof.

We had pegboard left over from
another project and decided to keep it
unpainted. However, the color
possibilities are endless!

The ornaments fit perfectly into the
holes. You could hot glue them if
you don't want your kids constantly
rearranging it.

So easy!

Happy crafting!

thanksgiving kids table...

This is such a fun table for your kids.
We used craft paper instead of a table cloth...
it's perfect to color on!

Turn the pumpkin on its side.
Use a screwdriver to make holes
for the crayons.

We hot glued on a little face.

We promise it will be a hit!

christmas countdown...

How cute is this advent calendar?
We are in love with the Oh Deer

It was difficult to narrow down all the
cute choices for our tree.

We taped it right on to the wall.

The presents were created by using
these super cute cards and envelopes

Are you as excited as we are about
Talk about useful!

 After the paint dries,
write your activity for that day.

We wanted to create an advent calendar
with fun seasonal ideas for families.

Tape the gifts under the tree.

You could leave the tree plain,
but why would you when
you have these cute options :-)

Happy Holidays!
