kids imagination book...

Kids love it when you read them a story, and they love it even more when they get to tell you a story.  This book really exercises their imagination as they navigate through their own made up adventure.

Print out their picture on card stock and carefully cut it out.

Laminate it at home by sticking it onto packing tape.

Place a piece on top and cut away the excess tape.

I took 4 sheets of regular copy paper, placed them on a 12x12 sheet and cut off about 3inches.

Fold the paper in half.

I sewed it together using the fold as a guide.

Create abstract pages that will really stretch their imagination.

Perfect for bedtime or to keep in your purse to use on a long flight, dinner out or at church.
Actively listening to their story can offer great insight into what's going on in their lives and will help lay the foundation for communication lines that will be very important in the coming years.
